Speaker Bios


KIM FISHER

Kim Fisher is a Business Development & Sales Associate at CompuWeather. She is also a meteorologist, having earned a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University in 2006. She spent several years working as a forecaster at FleetWeather, providing weather forecasts for clients such as roofing companies, school districts, production companies, radio stations, and the Yankees and Mets. She then moved into a business development & sales role for the forensic weather division of the same company, which is known as CompuWeather. She enjoys assisting clients with their weather-related cases.

JIM BRIA 

Jim Bria is a Senior Forensic Weather Expert at CompuWeather. He is an avid weather enthusiast who has had an interest in weather since childhood. Jim attended the State University of New York at Albany and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Atmospheric Science with a Minor in Business in 2001. He was hired by CompuWeather in 2003 and has worked with the company ever since. In 2014, he earned the prestigious Certified Consulting Meteorologist Seal (#695) from the American Meteorological Society. Jim has extensive experience as a forensic meteorologist and expert witness, having been qualified as an expert for deposition and trial testimony in over 180 cases for both state and federal courts.
